Stripe is cheaper on paper but built for developers. FramePay sets everything up for you: payment links, invoicing, dashboard, VAT receipts and support. No API keys, no code, no webhooks to configure. The 1% on top of Stripe's fees is usually cheaper than hiring a developer.

How much does FramePay cost?

2.5% + 20p per successful UK card transaction. No monthly fees, no setup fees, no contracts. You only pay when you get paid. EU cards are 3.5% + 20p; international cards 4.25% + 20p.

Most merchants are live the same day. Signup takes 5 minutes. Stripe onboarding (bank details and ID verification) takes another 5 to 10 minutes.

Who holds my money?

Stripe does. Funds go from your customer's card into your own Stripe Connect account (not ours), then to your UK bank. FramePay never touches your money. Our 1% platform fee is deducted automatically at point of payment.

Yes. FramePay is built for UK sole traders, tradespeople, freelancers and small Ltd companies. Stripe Connect supports both sole traders and limited companies.

FramePay payment links work alongside any WooCommerce or Shopify store for invoicing and off-platform payments. A dedicated plugin for direct checkout integration is on the roadmap.
